~A Smile~

In the world that seems grey,
Cloudy is the day,
The colors have flown,
And the rain is cold.

When Inspiration has said "Good-bye",
And the Heart is full of pain,
Comes a small voice,
That sings, that surrounds.

Time says No,
But the Spirit says Yes.
The dark Night denies it,
The Stars sing Yes.

In the depths of pain,
Comes the music of Life.
Delicate, Elusive.
Soft as a Breeze.

Life sings...
"Come and see,
Turn the corner,
I am waiting for you, Come and see!"

Turning the corner,
There waits a Smile,
Like a carnival for children,
The Carousel of Life
